NGS Super Scholarships now open

hkbntCaW_400x400.pngApplications are now open for the NGS Super 2020 Scholarship Awards.

The initiative grants six $5000 prizes to fund the professional development of recipients and to bring their winning idea to life.

Teachers, school support staff and principals who are members of NGS Super can enter.

Six scholarships across three categories

In 2020, the awards have been reimagined to recognise and fund the very best ideas that address challenges faced by the modern world.

There are now three categories:

  • Navigating life
  • Sustainability
  • General

NGS Super CEO Laura Wright encouraged everyone working in the education sector to get involved and submit an entry.

“We’ve been giving back to the education sector for a long time, but 2020 has been particularly tough and we really believe those working in the education sector deserve acknowledgement and support more than ever this year,” Laura said.

“We’re searching for innovative and out-of-the-box ideas that help young people navigate life and build resilience, whether that’s negotiating social media, or getting kids financially fit now to create future security,” Laura said.

“Ideas can range from a simple kitchen garden through to ‘citizen science’ projects that will help our young people become leaders in a sustainable future.”
