Schools clean up in 2015

Clean_Up_Australia_Day_2.pngEvery year hundreds of thousands of Australians clean up their local environment by collecting and removing rubbish on Clean Up Australia Day.

Schools can do their bit for the environment by participating in the nation-wide Schools Clean Up Day (SCUD) on Friday 27 February 2015.

Resources are available to support schools in making Schools Clean Up Day a success, including:

  • Schools Clean Up Kit – a starter kit containing bags, gloves for teachers and resources to help plan the event
  • Their own Schools Clean Up Day webpage
  • Access to our Schools Clean Up Curriculum Toolkit in partnership with Cool Australia – containing a range of curriculum aligned lesson plans for both primary and secondary schools.

Get involved

Start by registering your school via the Schools Clean Up website. Schools will then receive their resource kits in preparation for next year's activities.

Help protect our environment by taking part in Schools Clean Up Day in 2015.
