Are you seeking a career in the non-government education sector?

This session will provide a comprehensive overview of securing a teaching position in the sector, including:

  • Jobseeking tips – writing a great resumé, interview strategies and how to get noticed
  • How to navigate the issues you will face in your early months and years in the profession
  • Financially preparing yourself for the future and considering your superannuation options; and
  • How to make the most of union membership as a graduate teacher.

The session will be delivered by various presenters including practising teachers, employer representatives, finance industry representatives and union officers.
