Agenda: 

Providing a comprehensive introduction to student diversity, this workshop explores professional and legislative compliance; types of student diversity (disability and learning differences, giftedness, language backgrounds, socio-economic disadvantage, Indigenous students and behavioural issues); educational practice (from with withdrawal to inclusion); and avenues of support for classroom teachers. Workshop participants will gain an enhanced understanding of student diversity, as well as practical strategies to implement in the classroom setting.
