Applying for HAT or Lead Teacher Training – Cairns

HAT-LT_header.png

With Highly Accomplished Teacher (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) classifications available in most Queensland schools, many IEU members will now be considering if applying for classification is a good fit for their career stage and teaching role.

Our union is offering exclusive member-only training to assist teachers in navigating the classification process.

Presented by Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Manager for Certification Dr Judy Neilson, the sessions will provide a comprehensive overview of the AITSL National Professional Standards relevant to HAT and LT, the importance of evidence gathering and classroom professional practice, application processes and the expectations of teachers who attain these classifications.

This training session is tailored for teachers who are eligible and considering applying for either HAT or LT classification.

Dr Neilson will be available to answer any questions members may have about the HAT and LT certification process.

Places are strictly limited!

Ensure you RSVP for your preferred session as soon as possible to secure your place.
