Feedback from Chapters has identified a range of significant professional and industrial issues that were included in the Employee Log of Claims.
High priorities for Chapters were ways to attract, retain and reward employees, recognise the balance between work hours and family life and address concerns arising out of National Curriculum initiatives. Issues relating to planning and implementing curriculum, assessment and reporting and the increasing realisation that Lutheran schools are not immune to redundancy were also prominent in individual member feedback.
Negotiations are ongoing.
