Catholic Sector Collective Bargaining
The current collective agreements covering the Catholic sector in Queensland will expire on 30 June 2012.
The formal process of negotiating a replacement collective agreement with Catholic employing authorities has commenced with the first formal meeting of the Single Bargaining Units (SBUs) held Tuesday, 14 February 2012 (Diocesan) and Wednesday 15 February 2012 (RI schools).
Catholic employing authorities have determined to negotiate as two SBUs with one SBU comprised of Diocesan employing authorities and the other of Religious Institute schools.
At the initial meeting of the respective SBUs the employee Log of Claims endorsed by employees last year was tabled.
