Crazy Hair Day 4 Kids

Schools and early childhood centres are encouraged to join in the fun of the Leukaemia Foundation’s 2012 World's Greatest Shave by holding a Crazy Hair Day 4 Kids on Friday, 16 March 2012 with all proceeds to support leukaemia patients.

Crazy Hair Day gives children the opportunity to participate in one of the nation’s largest fundraisers by colouring their hair with temporary colour spray for a gold coin donation.

The first 1,000 Crazy Hair Day registrations will receive a FREE kit courtesy of Cinta Intense Colour Hair Spray and the Leukaemia Foundation - to help them hold their most colourful assembly. Each kit contains six cans of coloured hairspray, a cape, collection bucket and posters.

All funds raised from Crazy Hair Day will help the Leukaemia Foundation continue to provide free practical care and support for patients living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders including accommodation and counselling, as well as fund exciting research into improved treatments and cures.

Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland acting Chief Executive Officer, Keiran Mylrea said World’s Greatest Shave 2012 was more important than ever as the Foundation continues its investment in critical medical research and extends its accommodation facilities to cater for increasing demand.
