Chance to meet local politicians ahead of state elction

A state election will be held on Saturday 24 March.  But what’s in it for Queensland schools?

Combined education sector unions are holding special Education forums in three key state electorates, to give members the chance to hear straight from the candidates - and have your say on the issues that affect your school.

Union members (living or working) in the state electorates of Ashgrove, Greenslopes and Mount Coot-tha are invited to take part in a series of State Election Educations Forums later this month.

The candidates in each electorate will be given the opportunity to make a short statement on their education policies, after which the audience will get the chance to question them on the education issues that concern them.
