The collective strength of our union, and active membership in the principals' branch, is critical to ensure appropriate outcomes are achieved for our sector.

News
Principals in Catholic dioceses have commenced negotiations for a replacement collective agreement. A "Log of Claims" has been developed as a result of the State-wide Survey of Members findings.
Some issues in the log will be of greater relevance to principals in certain dioceses. For example, the Appraisal Process has been identified by employers in Cairns and principals in Brisbane for specific negotiation. The IEUA is seeking provisions which:
- improve remuneration
- address workload; and
- improve the value proposition of being a principal.
