Wellbeing and Balance - Burnout Self-care and Trauma Training - Spring Hill

Thursday 8 February 2018 (4:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Venue: Level 2 Training Room, IEUA-QNT Office, 346 Turbot Street, Spring Hill

RSVP: Wednesday, 7 February 2018

Contact: Amanda Kunde E: akunde@qieu.asn.au P: 07 3839 7020

Agenda:

People in 'helping' professions such as education can tend to be at greater risk of burnout, and this can lead to compassion fatigue or vice versa. Burnout is a term used when your body, mind and soul slows down, and is often caused by overworking and high levels of prolonged stress. This session assists in identifying the symptoms, recognising the triggers arising from your professional responsibilities and looks at the mechanisms and strategies to avoid burnout and the associated risks to health, performane capacity and relationships.
