Staff at Sunshine Coast Grammar School Targeted for Redundancy
TWENTY-ONE teachers at risk of losing their jobs at Sunshine Coast Grammar School will be able to apply for new positions before external applicants are considered.
On 27 August Terry Burke, secretary of the Independent Education Union of Australia - Queensland and Northern Territory Branch, met with the school’s principal, Nigel Fairbairn, to negotiate fair terms for teachers affected by a restructure, which was announced on 19 August.
