About Campaigns
Member-driven campaigns provide a powerful tool for focusing attention on specific issues of concern to members by mobilising member and community support.
Campaigns have a specific 'winnable' outcome on which to focus through a series of planned attention grabbing activities both within and outside schools. With the support of their union, members plan strategies and tactics which they believe will focus attention on the particular issue and apply maximum pressure to employers.
The campaign process encourages the development of valuable member networks, activists and member solidarity.
